A practice-based learning series for leaders, HR professionals, consultants, and facilitators focused on real-time application, peer feedback, and experiential tools—not lectures.

FLOW in Practice™ is a four-session experiential lab designed for professionals who want to practice leadership, facilitation, and communication skills in real time.

This is not a traditional workshop series. There are no long lectures or slide decks. Each session is built as a practice arena, using experiential facilitation tools and structured peer feedback to build confidence, clarity, and skill.

Participants will work with 2–3 facilitation tools per session, rotating through live practice roles and reflecting on how their leadership and facilitation actually land with others.

If you’re looking for passive learning, this is not the series for you.

If you’re ready to practice, reflect, and apply—welcome.

Select your sessions during registration or contact info@atdatlanta.org.

Limited to 15 participants per session to ensure depth and safety.

Atlanta AI Week brings together business leaders, technologists, and innovators to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming organizations. While Learning & Development professionals are often underrepresented in these spaces, this is our opportunity to be present, visible, and part of the conversation!

We’re inviting ATD members to engage through volunteering at the conference—a unique way to gain access, build connections, and experience the event from the inside.

Volunteers receive access to the full event experience across all three days (April 20–22, 2026), even if you only volunteer for a portion of the time.

Location: Atlanta Tech Village - Buckhead

        Why Volunteer?

Volunteering at Atlanta AI Week offers a high-impact, no-cost way to:

        • Gain exposure to real-world AI applications and business strategy
        • Network with leaders, founders, and innovators across industries
        • Represent the L&D community in an emerging and influential space
        • Learn how AI is shaping talent development and the future of work

        How It Works

        • Volunteers support the event in a variety of roles (check-in, wayfinding, session support, etc.)
        • You do NOT need to commit to all three days
        • Shifts can be as short as a couple of hours

        Important: Two-Step Registration

To participate, please complete both steps:

        1. Register for this ATD event. This allows us to track who from our community will be attending and help coordinate connections onsite.
        2. Sign up to volunteer through the official Atlanta AI Week website. (You will receive the link to register with Atlanta AI Week after you complete Step 1. You’ll select your preferred days/times directly with the event organizers.)

        Tell Us Your Availability

During ATD registration, please let us know:

        • Which day(s) you are available to volunteer (April 20, 21, and/or 22)
        • Approximate times, if known

This will help us coordinate and connect ATD members who will be onsite together.

        Let’s Show Up as ATD

This is more than a volunteer opportunity—it’s a chance for Learning & Development professionals to be seen, stay relevant, and actively engage in the AI conversation shaping our field.

Join us for a high-impact learning and networking experience as we explore the future of talent development and professional growth. This event brings together industry leaders and academic experts to bridge the gap between education and the evolving corporate landscape.

        The Conversation

We are diving deep into the modern workplace through three critical lenses:

        • The Transition: Navigating the leap from academic theory to professional practice.
        • The Path of Entrepreneurship vs. Corporate America: Weighing the structured stability and scale of a corporate career against the autonomy, agility, and high-stakes ownership of building your own venture. Which path truly drives your definition of success?
        • The Blueprint: How organizations scale talent—from frontline roles to executive leadership—while adapting to a rapidly shifting global economy.

Join ATD Greater Atlanta for a monthly certification showcase designed to help talent development professionals explore high-impact credentials that strengthen their practice, expand their offerings, and elevate their career trajectory.

Led in partnership with The Best Workplace (TBW) and The Nelius Strategy (TNS), this informational session highlights Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors® of a Cohesive Team—two of the most widely used frameworks for improving individual effectiveness, team performance, and organizational culture.

Each session provides a clear, practical overview of:

            • What Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors® are—and how they are used in real organizations
            • The value of becoming a Certified Practitioner
            • Pricing, certification structure, and cohort options
            • How certification supports your professional development, facilitation practice, or consulting portfolio
            • Pathways to apply the work as an internal practitioner or authorized partner

This is not a certification session—it is an opportunity to explore, ask questions, and determine if certification aligns with your goals.

                            Tuesday at Noon | Virtual

This session of The High Noon Exchange features the Learning & Development Community of Practice, bringing together professionals who design, deliver, and lead learning to explore what actually drives performance and capability at work.

Rather than focusing on tools or deliverables alone, this session centers on real challenges related to learning strategy, instructional impact, stakeholder alignment, and sustainability. Conversation is peer-driven and grounded in lived experience.

This is not a presentation or webinar. It’s a facilitated exchange focused on application, clarity, and next steps.

This session of The High Noon Exchange features the Independent,  Networking & Collaborating Community of Practice, designed for consultants, freelancers, and independent professionals.

Discussion focuses on the realities of independent work (client relationships, scope, boundaries, sustainability, and professional connection) grounded in lived experience rather than hustle culture.

This is a peer space for thoughtful exchange, not selling or pitching.

This session of The High Noon Exchange features the Learning Technologies Community of Practice, focused on the practical realities of learning tech in real organizations.

Discussion centers on implementation, adoption, integration, and impact, rather than tools in isolation. Topics may include LMS/LXP platforms, analytics, AI, content tools, and automation, grounded in what’s actually being used and supported.

The emphasis is on shared learning, not demos or vendor pitches.

Discussion focuses on the realities of independent work (client relationships, scope, boundaries, sustainability, and professional connection) grounded in lived experience rather than hustle culture.
