Our Podcast Bootcamp is designed for Talent Development professionals seeking to create learning opportunities in a new format. This amazing opportunity is a must-attend for anyone who has ever thought, "This should be my podcast!" and now wants to make it happen.

What you can expect

Participate in a month-long bootcamp, split up over 4 weeks.

Each week will feature

  • 1 live lecture
  • Videos to watch throughout the week
  • Office hours with the facilitator
  • Discussions on the Podcast Bootcamp Slack channel
  • A weekly assignment

In this bootcamp, you'll learn to do the following:

  1. Envision and plan a podcast project
  2. Basics of recording a podcast using the equipment of your choice
  3. Basic voice acting and interviewing tips
  4. Make an episode of your podcast FOR FREE (all editing software, music, sound effects, etc. will be open source and no special equipment is necessary!)

You will learn everything you need to get a podcast off the ground while use popular productivity tools and have many opportunities for networking and connecting with your peers.

  • We will use Slack, Trello, and Zoom
  • Participants will be able to converse with their classmates in multiple formats including Weekly Discussions
  • Participants will review each other's work and provide feedback
  • Facilitator will be available at designated times for 1-1 questions and discussion
  • Facilitator will provide videos and templates so you can go at your own pace

This event supports the Talent Development Capability area of Building Personal Capability in the following domains:

  • Project Management
  • Lifelong Learning

Be sure to register for all four sessions. Non-members will be provided a code at the time of the first session to waive the fees in subsequent sessions.


About Your Facilitator(s):

Neha Shingane

Neha Shingane is an attorney transitioning her practice into Learning and Development. She hosts ATD Atlanta's web series "Building Our Vision" and facilitates the Podcast Bootcamp class. She is interested in producing thoughtful, progressive content that will help you make WORK a better place to LIVE. Neha loves tinkering with new technology, talking about the latest OD trend, and dissecting workplace culture.
