About Your Facilitator(s):
Peter Sherman
Peter Sherman helps organizations become more productive and efficient through Lean Six Sigma.
His professional career has been focused on improving processes for organizations of all sizes, ranging from fast-growth companies to established Fortune 500 businesses. Peter began a career in Japan as an MIT scholar. There, he worked with Dr. Edwards Deming, the noted American quality expert. Peter learned first-hand Japanese quality practices including the Toyota Production System and Kaizen.
Later, Peter served as Lead Instructor of Emory University’s Six Sigma Certification Program. He has authored over 60 nationally-published articles on Lean, Six Sigma and quality. As Managing Partner of Riverwood Associates, Peter trains people from the frontline to the C-suite how to think critically, analytically and independently so they can make the best decisions. This is done via live, instructor-led workshops and webinars.
Peter Sherman's certifications include: Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ASQ-Certified Quality Engineer, and APICS-Certified Supply Chain Professional.
