PRESENTS ...
Politics, race, religion, sex ... these used to be topics that we purposefully steered away from. With the advent of social media, identity politics, racial disparity, and sexual liberation we are now talking about these topics at work and home. For many, these are things we'd rather not talk about ... but for a society to progress, we need to be able to talk about our differences constructively. But how?
In this fun and challenging workshop, we will provide you with a map for navigating discussions using techniques from neuroscience, negotiations, and social psychology. You will get a chance to practice such techniques as steel manning, reframing, synchrony, and transparency. Be prepared to stretch your conversational muscles in this workshop!
