Each year across the U.S., State agencies award hundreds of millions of dollars in training incentives to help businesses increase the skills and knowledge of their workers. Georgia has some of the top training incentive programs in the country. Benefits to a State for incentivizing workforce development include:
Businesses become more competitive and strengthen a State’s GDP,
States can more easily attract new business, and,
Should a business be required to close, it’s workers can more easily gain meaningful employment
Join us for our upcoming August chapter meeting as we help training leaders learn how to take advantage of some of the more lucrative training incentives available, especially the Georgia Retraining Tax Credit (GRTC).
During this meeting, we'll compare a few of the most common training incentives: the GRTC, and the California ETP. Both enable businesses to recover up to six and seven figures of training expenses, but each in a very different manner. We’ll also cover a major recent development in nearby South Carolina. By participating in this meeting, attendees will learn:
- How to identify types of training rollouts that are typically eligible for the GRTC
- What kinds of information are needed to qualify, and best practices for collecting this data
- How to estimate the amount of GRTC or other training incentives might be available to my business
Don't miss this chance to learn from an industry expert and network with fellow learning and development leaders interested in improving their ROI of training, especially in Georgia, California and South Carolina. Register now to secure your spot!
