In addition to volunteering for the chapter, you can also get involved by completing a volunteer project. The volunteer projects that are currently available are listed below. We make every effort to update this information monthly, but there may be a delay.

Leadership Onboarding Program (#001)

Status: In Progress

  • Organization: Greater Atlanta ATD
  • Completion Timeframe: 4 Month Project / June 30, 2021
  • Budget: Not Applicable
  • Decision-Maker: Chapter President
  • Stakeholder(s): 7 Board of Director Leaders and 12 Executive Board Leaders
  • Purpose: To document, organize and develop a modular onboarding program for the executive board and board of directors within ATD Greater Atlanta.
  • Details: Develop up to 13 modular sections, including checklists, up to 2 Hours Learning Duration for each role to complete. Must capture the key roles duties, responsibilities, reports and actionable steps to succeed at each role. Volunteer should provide an outlined Storyboard and develop project in selected e-learning tool provided by the organization.

Website Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions (#002)

  • Details: Draft chapter’s website and technology terms of use and conditions, member privacy policy, code of conduct for events and email disclaimers.

Event Creation Training (#003)

  • Purpose: To provide instructions for chapter leaders on how to create events in Wild Apricot.
  • Details: Create a self-paced learning object (video or eLearning) documenting to steps required to create an event in Wild Apricot.

Develop Communications Course Curriculum (#004)

  • Completion Timeframe: 5 Months / July 31, 2021

  • Decision-Maker: Latrina Cockerell, Founder of Cool Boys Communicate
  • Stakeholder(s): Board Members (7 ppl)
  • Purpose: To develop and advance the current communication course objectives to a full 8 to 10 week learning curriculum.
  • Details: We are seeking an instructional designer who would like an opportunity to add to their portfolio and develop a 8 - 10 week Communications Course Curriculum for young men. This would include expected outcomes, participant artifacts, tools for measuring success and a facilitator's guide.

Document Procedures for Annual ACE Conference (#005)

  • Completion Timeframe: 4 Months / December 2021

  • Stakeholder(s): President, VP of Special Events, Director of Volunteers
  • Purpose: To capture and document best practices and procedures for the future production of the ACE conference and to eliminate wasteful reproduction of effort in strategic planning of future events.
  • Details: Document all elements of a full project plan to include, but possibly not limited to, production, marketing, physical characteristics, timing, departmental aspects, technology, staffing, run-of-show, extra-curriculars, surveys, raffles and giveaways, food, tear-down and clean up. Tools used to be approved once proposal is submitted..
