Working solo and creating “one offs” will only get you so far when it comes to meeting your organization’s training and support goals. Training departments are always being asked to do more, and as a leader, you are also seeking to make a greater overall impact.

In this session we’ll explore how dominKnow | ONE can facilitate your engagement of others to collaboratively work together on your projects ranging from working side by side on the same project, enabling subject matter experts to do “live” reviews of projects, utilize commenting for your fellow authors, setting up master themes and baselines to empower other team members and make their job easier, using system wide search options to prevent ever “reinventing the wheel” again, and more.

The next best thing to getting the whole team involved is designing learning once but using it for multiple situations, or in other words, Single Source Design. We’ll review how dominKnow | ONE can enable you to reuse content and update it once across multiple versions, providing true reuse at multiple content levels. Next, we’ll examine how content can not only be reused, but also redesigned to meet different forms of learning, be it different branding situations of the same material or different approaches to learning such as formal vs informal or on demand, and all without needing to completely “redo” the content to meet those specific needs.

Join us for a fun examination of some key problems instruction designers face.

Facilitator: Paul Schneider

Paul Schneider, the senior vice president of business development for dominKnow Learning Systems, has worked in the area of distance communication technologies in academia and corporate for over 18 years, primarily focusing on distance learning. Paul has provided services in most areas of learning, including instructional design, distance education, mobile training, and performance support. He currently oversees operations and business development at dominKnow Learning Systems. Paul holds a PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
