Learning Executive for the control functions at Bank of America

In this role John drives the learning strategy and plans for each control function in alignment with business and the enterprise learning strategy.

Additionally, he is the Executive Champion of the measurement strategy for the bank and Executive Sponsor for the Atlanta Chapter of the Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership & Advancement.

With over 28 years of experience in learning and organization development, John is a passionate leader who is deliberate about aligning management, operations, strategy and culture to drive results.

Yolanda Hawkes

Yolanda brings 20+ years of talent acquisition and human resources experience from a host of global companies including, The Coca-Cola Company, Siemens, Westrock (formerly RockTenn) and Amazon Web Services [AWS], with experience recruiting early career, experienced and executive talent, diverse talent acquisition, employer branding/recruitment marketing and workforce planning. Currently she is a senior program manager driving diversity talent attraction strategies for the Sales, Marketing & Global Services business unit at AWS.

In addition to her career journey, her passion to impact the communities around her led her to the United Way of Greater Atlanta, where she served in several leadership positions including chair of the African American Partnership [AAP] Cabinet for four years and currently leads AAP’s Events Committee. Yolanda serves on the Leadership Council of The POSSE Foundation Atlanta and is an active member of The House of Hope – Atlanta’s Social Justice ministry. She has served as a mentor in the Year Up Atlanta and with the Atlanta chapter of NAAAHR, National Association of African Americans in HR.  

Yolanda is a native of Richmond, VA, and a graduate of James Madison University [JMU] where she studied political science. Since JMU, she has acquired certification in human resources management. She’s also received certificates in inclusion & diversity from Cornell University & the University of South Florida, respectively. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, especially outdoors.  Trying out new recipes, traveling, attending sporting events, concerts & festivals, allow her to balance out work & life.

Lawrence Henderson

Lawrence Henderson is a comfort-disrupting teddy bear with 20 plus years in Leadership and Organizational Development Coaching, Training, and Consulting space and loves connecting in meaningful ways.

The primary goal in his life is to be a catalyst that leads others to give themselves permission to be amazing.
