Transitioning Into Corporate L&D With Strategic Credibility

Presenter: Ms. Kat Dunn is the Founder and CEO of Kat the Coursebuilder (KTCB), a sought-after instructional design agency celebrating over 11 years of delivering high-impact learning solutions for organizations across the country.

With more than a decade of experience in corporate training and instructional design, Kat and her team have supported the development of over 17,000 courses across five countries and three continents, helping clients generate more than $400 million in course-related revenue. KTCB has partnered with major organizations including Walmart, Verizon Wireless, ADP, and U.S. federal agencies to design scalable, compliant, and results-driven learning programs.

Today, Kat is leading a shift in the course industry—helping professionals, organizations, and course creators move beyond traditional course creation and into building strategic, business-aligned learning solutions that drive real organizational capacity.

She is also the creator of Course ConX Live, an experience designed to give HR leaders, L&D professionals, and course creators direct insight into how training decisions are made—and how to get to “yes” inside organizations.

Known for her ability to bridge the gap between learning and business impact, Ms. Dunn helps individuals and organizations move from order takers to strategic partners—positioning their work to be approved, funded, and implemented at scale.
