He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed specializations in Strategic Leadership and Management as well as Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT. Guided by principles of integrity, honesty, and transparency, Timothy is passionate about inspiring, coaching, and developing leaders to achieve their full potential. |

His industry experience spans a prominent retail background, where he successfully led teams to other pivotal roles in Georgia's largest consumer products organization to his current position spearheading employee experience and staffing for a renowned consultancy in Atlanta, earning consistent recognition with top workplace awards. VP MembershipTony BallardTony Ballard is a global human capital and talent transformation leader with a distinguished 20+ year career spanning the finance industry, the U.S. Air Force, entrepreneurship, and academia. He brings deep expertise in organizational and workforce development, career transitions, and talent strategy, empowering individuals and organizations to thrive in complex and dynamic environments. In the financial services sector, Tony led enterprise-wide mentorship initiatives, negotiated high-stakes contracts, and implemented global learning strategies that impacted over 200,000 employees across the U.S. and four international regions. As the founder and owner of an independent consulting firm, he supports veterans transitioning from military to civilian careers. He also partners with organizations to design and implement military veteran programs and serves as a keynote speaker and thought leader advocating for the inclusion of veterans in the civilian workforce. Earlier in his career, Tony retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) from the U.S. Air Force, where he led large-scale organizational development initiatives at the Pentagon and the Headquarters Air Force Personnel Center. In these roles, he influenced HR policy and workforce strategy initiatives that impacted more than 697,000 military personnel and civilian service employees worldwide. Tony Ballard currently serves as an adjunct professor and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Management) at the Michael J. Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University. |
VP Marketing & CommunicationPamela BrownPamela serves as a Staff Instructional Designer at Insulet, where she designs and implements effective learning solutions. She collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop both technical and non-technical training programs that align with the company’s strategic objectives. Prior to this, Pamela was the Senior Manager of Education and Engagement at the American Diabetes Association, where she managed multiple continuing education programs and worked closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders. Pamela’s career also includes significant experience in K-12 education, having worked for Gwinnett County Public Schools, the largest school district in Georgia. As an ELA department chair and lead innovator/technology lead, she developed blended eLearning experiences and supported the integration of technology to ensure students had access to high-quality education. |
VP TechnologyKelly TracyKelly is a Senior Instructional Designer for Conduent, where she serves the Delta Air Lines account. She has over 17 years of experience in teaching and training, from language instruction and higher education to nonprofit and corporate training and development. She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and English as a Second Language from Georgia State University and her APTD certification. Kelly lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband and two sons, and she enjoys pottery, gardening, embroidery, and hiking. |
VP Learning and DevelopmentFrankie RobinsonFrankie Robinson brings over a decade of experience in training, education, and instructional design to their role as Vice President of Special Programs at ATD Greater Atlanta. As the founder of MoguMogu Solutions, Frankie specializes in creating innovative learning solutions that empower professionals to achieve their full potential. Frankie’s career highlights have included leading the development of training programs for AT&T, hosting workshops in Japan, growing a global online learning community of over 7,000 educators, and developing multi-media content for Amazon's AWS Cloud Institute. A skilled instructional designer and AI enthusiast, Frankie has also developed cutting-edge training strategies that integrate artificial intelligence to enhance learner engagement and performance. As a forward-thinking leader, Frankie is committed to fostering collaboration and delivering meaningful learning experiences for the ATD community. When not driving professional development initiatives, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Japan when possible, and dabbling in a variety of crafts. VP Community RelationsSue AnnabelSue Annabel is a driven Learning and Development leader with a unique blend of technical expertise and a passion for empowering others through education. With years of experience in technical systems development across industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and banking, Sue honed her ability to navigate complex technical topics and bridge the gap to practical application. This foundation has positioned her well to design and deliver engaging learning programs and manage impactful training initiatives that resonate with diverse audiences. Her approach is rooted in her belief that effective learning drives both individual growth and organizational success. Sue's career has been marked by continuous commitment to community engagement. She has spearheaded corporate volunteer initiatives throughout her professional journey, with her proudest achievement being over 20 years of leadership for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Sponsor Program. Under her coordination, nearly 1,000 children and elders experienced a brighter holiday season as a result of her team’s generous efforts. Sue earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida, where she developed the analytical and problem-solving skills that have been central to her career success. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves an afternoon on the tennis court, and remains dedicated to volunteering and fostering connections within her community. |
BookkeeperStephanie SmithStephanie is an experienced learning and development leader with a strong focus on innovative approaches to learner-centric training solutions including simulations, role-playing, microlearning, responsive and computer-based training, and engaging instructor-led sessions using a variety of multimedia and mobile technologies. She has created learning experiences for role-based onboarding, nationwide product launches, operational processes and guest experience initiatives for sales, service, operations, and HR teams. Stephanie started her professional career as a high school mathematics teacher and transitioned into corporate instructional design. She has worked at multiple Fortune 500 companies and other large organizations supporting various training departments, including UPS, Asbury Automotive Group, and Cox Automotive. She is currently a Sales Enablement Curriculum Manager at Cardlytics. Most recently, Stephanie decided to use her passion for numbers and start a bookkeeping business, AIO Bookkeeping, LLC. She works with coaches, consultants, and other small business owners to better understand where their money is coming from, where it goes, and help identify ways to improve profitability. By doing this, she helps these busy business owners get back to spend in their zone of genius instead of in their books. She holds a Master of Education in Learning, Design & Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Education for Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia. She is also a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor through Intuit. |

His personal mission is to empower those he encounters with knowledge and kindness. He is a firm believer that empowering and investing in people will pay great dividends. Jeffery earned his Doctorate in Leadership and Master of Arts in Adult Education from East Carolina University. Senior AdvisorNora CloonanNora began volunteering with ATD in 2017. She has a master’s degree from the University of Georgia in Instructional Design and Development. She believes being an Instructional Designer is the perfect career for her because she loves being creative and learning about new things. So, every project is a new learning experience that she gets to create! In her spare time, Nora loves to travel, photograph and experience the history of the places she visits.
