Jeffery Alejandro, EdD, CPP

Jeffery Alejandro has 25 years of experience in leadership, training, talent development, learning strategies/solutions, and performance management. Throughout his career, he has worked with over 200 organizations in a wide variety of industries such as finance, healthcare, manufacturing, law, education, sports, defense, technology, etc. His professional mission is to provide tailored, practical learning solutions to strengthen organizations’ teams. His personal mission is to empower those he encounters with knowledge and kindness. He is a firm believer that empowering and investing in people will pay great dividends. Jeffery earned his Doctorate in Leadership and Master of Arts in Adult Education from East Carolina University. He earned his Bachelor’s of Art in Communication (Public Relations and Broadcasting) from the University of North Carolina-Pembroke. He has certifications in the areas of instructional technology, program planning, leadership, and conflict resolution.

Peter Timothy "Tim" Brown

Timothy Brown is an accomplished Learning and Development leader with over 20 years of diverse experience across sectors such as retail, telecommunications, broadcasting, entertainment, and real estate. Throughout his career, Timothy has held pivotal roles including Associate Director Delivery/Performance Leader at AT&T, where he consistently drove organizational success through strategic HR initiatives and performance management. 

A certified Everything DiSC facilitator, Timothy is dedicated to professional development and continuous improvement. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and has completed specializations in Strategic Leadership and Management as well as Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT. 

Guided by principles of integrity, honesty, and transparency, Timothy is passionate about inspiring, coaching, and developing leaders to achieve their full potential.

Chief Financial Officer

Jenny J. Saint Preux

Jenny J. Saint Preux is a dynamic professional with over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in talent development, training, and operational excellence. She has a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative training programs that enhance employee performance, streamline workflows, and improve underwriting accuracy. Passionate about professional development, Jenny has led mentorship initiatives, structured onboarding programs, and facilitated continuing education to strengthen technical expertise and leadership skills within organizations.

Her ability to create data-driven solutions has significantly impacted training and operational efficiency. She leverages advanced Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools to develop dashboards and reports that support strategic decision-making and track key performance indicators in training and talent management. By integrating analytics into training programs, she ensures measurable improvements in employee engagement, productivity, and organizational success.

Jenny’s commitment to professional growth extends beyond her workplace. She is actively involved in several industry organizations, including the Association for Talent Development (ATD Greater Atlanta), the Atlanta Association of Insurance Professionals (AAIP), the CPCU Society - Atlanta Chapter, the National Black MBA Association - Atlanta Chapter, the Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) – MidSouth Chapter, and the Atlanta Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). Through these affiliations, she supports professional development, mentors emerging professionals, and contributes to the advancement of the insurance and risk management fields.

Holding an MBA in Finance from Strayer University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from Florida A&M University, Jenny is passionate about empowering professionals through education, training, and leadership development while driving organizational success.

Provita Mungin    

Provita Mungin is VP Membership Services. She has been a member of ATD Greater Atlanta since 2013.  She's been a chapter volunteer in the capacities of Technology Partner with Habitat Humanity Education Program, Director of Young Professionals/Students on the Membership Committee, Mentorship Program Advisor - three (3) years and Co-VP Membership 2023. 

Provita has been a Talent Development professional for twenty-five years. She's held many roles in the learning space including Trainer, Faciliator, Internal Performance Consultant, Curriculum Developer, Training & Development Manager and LMS Administrator. She is currently an Organizational Development Manager

Josiah Owens   

Josiah Owens, a Talent Development leader with over a decade of expertise focused on instructional design, talent strategy, HR, and employee experience. Known for his exceptional ability to infuse creativity into work environments, Josiah has consistently fostered stability and enriched the overall employee experience throughout his diverse career, marked by impactful contributions in internal people development. His industry experience spans a prominent retail background, where he successfully led teams to other pivotal roles in Georgia's largest consumer products organization to his current position spearheading employee experience and staffing for a renowned consultancy in Atlanta, earning consistent recognition with top workplace awards. Beyond his professional endeavors, Josiah is a true renaissance man, engaging in gourmet cooking and DIY home projects, while cherishing moments with his wife and daughters. His unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact is a testament to his passion for inspiring others to do the same, shaping the future landscape of talent development at ATD.

Kelly Tracy  

Kelly has over 17 years of experience in teaching and training, from language instruction and higher education to nonprofit and corporate training and development. She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics and English as a Second Language from Georgia State University and her APTD certification. Kelly lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband and two sons, and she enjoys pottery, gardening, embroidery, and hiking.

Frankie Robinson

Frankie Robinson brings over a decade of experience in training, education, and instructional design to their role as Vice President of Special Programs at ATD Greater Atlanta. As the founder of MoguMogu Solutions, Frankie specializes in creating innovative learning solutions that empower professionals to achieve their full potential.

Frankie’s career highlights have included leading the development of training programs for AT&T, hosting workshops in Japan, growing a global online learning community of over 7,000 educators, and developing multi-media content for Amazon's AWS Cloud Institute. A skilled instructional designer and AI enthusiast, Frankie has also developed cutting-edge training strategies that integrate artificial intelligence to enhance learner engagement and performance.

As a forward-thinking leader, Frankie is committed to fostering collaboration and delivering meaningful learning experiences for the ATD community. When not driving professional development initiatives, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to Japan when possible, and dabbling in a variety of crafts.

Frankie holds a deep belief in the power of lifelong learning and is dedicated to advancing the field of talent development through innovative and impactful programs.

      

Bookkeeper

 Stephanie Smith

Stephanie is an experienced learning and development leader with a strong focus on innovative approaches to learner-centric training solutions including simulations, role-playing, microlearning, responsive and computer-based training, and engaging instructor-led sessions using a variety of multimedia and mobile technologies. She has created learning experiences for role-based onboarding, nationwide product launches, operational processes and guest experience initiatives for sales, service, operations, and HR teams.

Stephanie started her professional career as a high school mathematics teacher and transitioned into corporate instructional design. She has worked at multiple Fortune 500 companies and other large organizations supporting various training departments, including UPS, Asbury Automotive Group, and Cox Automotive. She is currently a Sales Enablement Curriculum Manager at Cardlytics.

Most recently, Stephanie decided to use her passion for numbers and start a bookkeeping business, AIO Bookkeeping, LLC. She works with coaches, consultants, and other small business owners to better understand where their money is coming from, where it goes, and help identify ways to improve profitability. By doing this, she helps these busy business owners get back to spend in their zone of genius instead of in their books.

She holds a Master of Education in Learning, Design & Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Education for Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia. She is also a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor through Intuit.

Glenda Hinz 

In 1978, Glenda began providing secretarial services from her home office under the name Hinz Word Processing. Today, she provides much more than word processing in a professional, solutions-oriented business environment as HINZtime Virtual Assistance. Although she has worked extensively for small businesses, associations and educational organizations, her skills and services are adaptable to any industry, in any location worldwide. Glenda provides exceptional secretarial and organizational skills, with relentless attention to detail, accuracy and confident efficiency. She has worked with several ATD chapters over the past 25 years.

His passion is to educate large corporations and small startups on the importance of investing in human capital. As an HR consultant, facilitator and talent strategist, he has a proven track record of creating an environment for personal and professional growth, aligned with continuous learning, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace for all talent.

Building genuine relationships that are inviting and meaningful are important to Cornelius, also known as Neil, in and out of the office. The emotional connection to experiences and the people that are part of them make Neil happiest. Some might say his love language is food (he even owns a spice company called Nelius Spices), and while he does enjoy delicious dishes, to him, they aren’t special without soul at the root.

Past President

Nicole Ghosten

Nicole has a passion for the Talent Development field. She has held a wide range of positions in the Talent Development field such as Human Resources Generalist and Training Systems Lead. She is currently an Organizational Change Management Lead for a large manufacturing company in Atlanta. She is a certified change management practitioner through PROSCI.

Nicole has a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University in Human Resources Management. She has a Paralegal Certificate from Clayton State University. Nicole recently received her M.A. in Law from Regent University Law school. While in law school her concentration of studies was in Non-Profit Management.

Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends and volunteering for local non-profits in the metro Atlanta area.

Senior Advisor 

Jonathan Burman

Jonathan Burman’s career is rooted in Organizational Psychology and Talent Development. With more than 30 years of experience in Organizational Development, Leadership, Human Resources, and Talent Management, he has worked with such firms as DuPont, Dropbox, Goldman Sacks, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Nemours, Children’s Health, Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Johnson & Johnson. In addition to co-founding The Best Workplace LP, he is also a Performance Consultant and Instructor for Emory University’s Continuing Education Department. Most recently he was the VP of Talent Acquisition & Development for Mondi … a global paper, packaging, and managed forestry company headquartered in Vienna, Austria.

He received his Masters Degree in I/O psychology from LaSalle University, is a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional, ProSci Change Management consultant, and Certified Master Coach. He was an adjunct professor at Rosemont College and has written numerous articles and many presentations about psychology and talent management.

For his entire career Jonathan has been focused on creating fulfilling and productive work cultures through leadership alignment and accountability. He has created and facilitated hundreds of employee training programs in such areas as leadership, change management, positive psychology, motivation, employee engagement, succession planning, interviewing, performance development and coaching.

As an executive coach Jonathan has worked with many leaders in Fortune 500 companies to increase leadership capability and productivity. He also works with many non-profit organizations in the mental health sector and is active in child-advocacy groups and volunteers for youth mentoring programs.

   


Senior Advisor

Nora Cloonan

Nora began volunteering with ATD in 2017. She has a master’s degree from the University of Georgia in Instructional Design and Development. She believes being an Instructional Designer is the perfect career for her because she loves being creative and learning about new things. So, every project is a new learning experience that she gets to create! In her spare time, Nora loves to travel, photograph and experience the history of the places she visits. She is also an avid reader. Nora enjoys sharing her journeys with her husband, John.

Senior Advisor

Andrea Goodwin

Andrea is a seasoned professional in the Learning & Development field. She started off her career as an instructional designer; developing instructor-led and e-learning courses varying from technical and soft skills courses to entire sales curricula. She progressed in her career to such roles as learning consultant, performance analyst, trainer, facilitator, leadership development coach and learning strategist, and L&D manager. In her current role as a Sr. Learning Consultant, she applies a consultative approach to uncovering training challenges and solutions.

Andrea has been a member of ATD chapters for nearly 20 years. She served in several roles, including the 2019 ACE Conference Director, and the 2020 VP of Special Events.

Andrea has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Drake University; M.A. in Training & Development with three graduate certificates in Adult Learning, Organizational Development and E-Learning from Roosevelt University.

Now officially an empty nester, when she finds spare time, she hones her love of acting through professional classes and workshops. She has performed in several local plays and two short films.




Senior Advisor

H. Kevin Opela

H. Kevin Opela is an instructional designer, trainer and decorated storyteller. With an MFA with honors from Columbia University, Kevin is also a producer, director, and playwright.

In his current position Kevin designs training materials from the ground up, and presents them to over 6,000 county employees whose background ranges from people without high school diplomas to PhDs.

He is a proud member of ATD Atlanta and Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) who has presented at the last two ACE conferences.


Senior Advisor

Pamela Robinson

Pamela Robinson has over 30 years of experience in training, education, and performance improvement in a variety of environments—educational, non-profit, manufacturing, retail, and IT. She has been a classroom teacher serving students in grades K-12; a manager of administration for a Washington, DC consulting firm; a division training coordinator for the hourly workforce for Sonoco Products Company, an international packaging solutions company; an education and information services analyst for Macy’s Systems and Technology; and a faculty member of Capella University in training and performance improvement.

As a volunteer, she has served as a trainer and staff developer for the American Red Cross and the Boy Scouts of America. In addition, she has also served as a Sunday school director, a PTSA president, a school advisory committee chairman, an NCA school accreditation self-study editor, a board of directors member of the Florida State University Parents Association, and an executive board member of the Georgia Center for Performance Excellence.

Pamela won an award for her PhD dissertation from the International Society for Performance Improvement, the Clara Barton Honor Award for Volunteer Leadership from the American Red Cross, and the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for volunteer service to the American Red Cross.
