Speak a New Language to Energize the Virtual Classroom!
Facilitating in the virtual world can be intimidating, even for the most tenured facilitator. The “hello, is anyone out there” question - is not a good look for any virtual facilitator.
Because of limitations, such as not being able to make eye contact or read body language, the virtual classroom has to play on the ‘emotional commitment’ of the attendees. This is done by creating an environment that is stimulating, supportive, and engaging.
Statistics tell us that body language accounts for more than 70 to 80 percent of the communication in a traditional classroom, and it is that body language, that keeps everyone involved. To get this involvement in the virtual classroom, we must speak a new language.
Virtual Facilitation Made Easy, will touch on the basics that every beginner needs to know so that their virtual classroom is interactive, collaborative, and engaging.
Participants will learn how to:
- How To Communicate in the Virtual Classroom
- Capturing Your Participants Emotional Commitment
- Eliminating Dead Air Space
