Have you ever put together a project team of competent, seemingly similar employees only to watch, amazed, as the team fails to accomplish its goals or falls apart completely? Why do some teams function like well-oiled machines even under stress while others never achieve their full potential? To find out, we will explore how individual wants in three dimensions--Inclusion, Control and Openness--impact one-on-one relationships, as well as team dynamics. This experiential introduction to FIRO theory and Element B may be the key your organization needs to learn to build partnerships and teams that enable you to excel. Come prepared to participate in fun activities that illustrate why Will Schutz, creator of FIRO theory, felt that the three dimensions of Inclusion, Control and Openness explain all human interaction.
