Participants learn the demographics, historical events, and parenting trends that created each generations’ workplace preferences and how these preferences can become sources of conflict.
Awareness, appreciation, and mastery of generational preferences enables leaders to address such conflict productively, if not avoid it altogether. Furthermore, mastery of generational preferences ensures productive team relationships and communications that promote creativity, innovation, teamwork, and performance.

Cam Marston is the leading expert on the impact of generational change and its impact on the workplace and marketplace. Marston and his firm, Generational Insights, have provided research and consultation on generational issues to hundreds of companies and professional groups, ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations, as well as major professional associations, for over 20 years. In 2018 Marston launched a regional radio show (also available as a podcast) called What’s Working with Cam Marston with expert guests offering insights and opinions on the trends that are shaping today’s workplace and workforce. Dr. Dossier Harps is a seasoned professional who has been coaching and leading people, teams, and organizations for 14 years. Outside of the USA, she has lived and worked in England, Japan, and Malaysia, and is committed to helping people become the highest truest version of themselves through leadership and personal development. She earned her doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, is a Nashville native and currently lives in Atlanta. One of her favorite research areas is on generational values and behaviors and in 2017 she became certified by Cam Masrston's group to teach on multi-generational workplaces.
