Communities of Practice (CoP) Leadership Roundtable

Meet and network with our Communities of Practice (CoP) leaders!

Our CoP programs are free for ATD Greater Atlanta Chapter members and the committee wants to talk with members about their professional development needs. Bring topics that are important to you, and ideas on future discussions and workshops you would like to see in your current or desired Talent and Development space. If you're interested in informal meetings and want to discuss blogs, books, courses, websites, etc that are related to your area of interest, this is the perfect place share your ideas!

You will walk away with a network of your peers and potential support groups within our chapter, and opportunities to partner with our leaders on future CoP programs.  Below are our current CoP groups and the topics they cover:

Learning & Development: A community for learning professionals who design, deliver, measure, and develop learning opportunities for individual contributors and leaders.

Learning Technologies: A community for forward-thinking learning professionals who frequently interface with technology. Great for those who design and develop content, use learning management systems (LMS) and/or lead their teams in keeping them ahead of the curve when it comes to the very latest in technology & the user experience.

Career Development: A community for learning professionals interested in advancing their own careers, helping others develop their skills and expertise or are in transition and actively looking for a new job opportunity.

Organizational Development: A community for talent development professionals who to use training, coaching, HR, and diagnostic interventions to foster healthy work culture, inspire innovation, and drive sustainable organizational performance.

Independents, Networking and Collaborating: A community of business owners or independent contractors that provides business-related knowledge, tools, and solutions that will cultivate and promote growth for their clients.

Other:  While there isn't a specific CoP group for the following topics, our team also hosts events that cover data and analytics, facilitation techniques, leadership support, project management fundamentals, return on investment (ROI), sales enablement and soft skills training.  If any of these topics are your areas of interest, talk with the CoP leader on how to implement a program.
