How can we talk about politics, race, religion, sex at work and home? These used to be topics that we purposefully steered away from, but with the advent of social media, identity politics, racial disparity, and sexual liberation we are forced to navigate these tricky waters.

Some topic areas we will explore include:

  • Where our opinions/beliefs come from
  • Lessons from Harvard Negotiations Project, Mutual Learning model, and Street Epistemology
  • Exercising a framework for constructive conversations
  • Assess your conversational strengths and weaknesses
