Topic: The War for Talent

Is your company challenged with keeping talent? If it's like so many others, the answer to this question is "Yes". Beth Miller is an expert on the war for talent and will be sharing her expert insights.

  • How to measure your employee engagement
  • Methods to increase employee engagement

Beth Miller provides a practical approach for enabling and maintaining employee engagement, drawn from her deep experience advising and consulting with senior business leadership and coaching high potential employees. Participants will be able to better recognize current engagement levels within their teams and apply successful strategies to achieve greater retention rates and drive employee passion.

Beth Miller is an accomplished entrepreneur, consultant, blogger and business and community leader. She is a Founder and President of Executive Velocity Inc., a leadership development and talent management advisory firm for fast-growing small and mid-sized companies.  Ms. Miller is on the board of the Harvard Business School club in Atlanta and a Vistage Chair.


Previously, Miller was co-founder and Chairwoman of the Board for MA&A Group, Inc., a technology project management consulting firm and served as MA&A Group’s Vice President of Strategy, Marketing and Business Development, working with clients such as BellSouth, SunTrust, the American Cancer Society and Wachovia.  She has been recognized for with several leadership awards including “Atlanta’s Top 40 Under 40”, Georgia Trend’s “Divas” and the Distinguished Service Award by her alma mater, Babson College.  She has been a featured speaker for several groups, including the Kettering Executive Network (KEN), CIO Executive Council Pathways Program, and the American Staffing Association and has been featured in publications and industry blogs, including Software Advice1 to 1 MagazineHR.comLeadership Smartbriefs and Business Exchange.
