Collaboration Tools
for Remote Training Teams

Organizations of all sizes face a myriad of challenges connecting workers who are increasingly out from behind their desks and on the move – be it across the building, down the block or around the globe. Join the TBL SIG for this session to explore how businesses are leveraging the benefits of next-gen social, mobile and cloud technologies to connect and inform their workers and drive both collaboration and engagement to accelerate overall performance.

Robert Gadd is President and Chief Mobile Officer of OnPoint Digital based in Savannah and responsible for OnPoint’s technical vision and strategy for next generation learning solutions. OnPoint's online and mobile-enabled offerings support more than one million workers across five continents and include innovative methods for content authoring/conversion, social interaction, gamification and secure delivery to any worker on virtually any computer or mobile device. Prior to founding OnPoint, Mr. Gadd spent ten years as CTO of Datatec Systems (Nasdaq: DATC) as well as President and CTO of spin-off eDeploy.com, an ISV based in Denver funded by Cisco Systems. Mr. Gadd is a frequent speaker on next generation learning solutions including mobile, informal learning and gamification at national and international conferences. He also a well regarded blogger and co-host of the “This Week in mLearning” podcast along with training industry analyst RJ Jacquez.

Atlanta Community Food Bank Project

As a community partner of the Atlanta Community Food Bank we are always looking for ways to support this worthy cause. We have a goal to donate over 1260 pounds of food to feed a family of 4 for 3 months. In 2011, the Atlanta Community Food Bank was able to distribute $8.47 worth of grocery products back into the community for every $1.00 donated. (Atlanta Community Food Bank. November 2011).

To show our support for this effort, TBL SIG is requesting that event attendees consider bringing a donation in the form of canned goods.

We will ensure that donations are delivered to the Food Bank.  Contact  Christie Young  for additional information on the Food Bank Donation project.

Refreshments will be served
