Navigating Adversity with a Leadership Mindset

This session will focus on the 6 critical leadership mindsets and skillsets most needed now to successfully navigate through this current disruption and turbulence. We will reveal research-based data regarding the six skills and their associated mindsets. Participants will have an opportunity to experience a sample PXT Select Leadership Report to determine their own personal strengths and areas for growth and development. Senior leaders will be especially interested to learn the essential skills they need to identify and cultivate in themselves and others in order to re-skill and up-level their current workforce.  Participants will receive a free sample report, a white paper (ebook) and the opportunity to test drive the assessment experience and potentially have it scored for you personally if you are interested in evaluating its potential use in your organization.

After participating in this session, learners will be able to:

  • Appreciate and articulate why leadership re-skilling is such an important issue today
  • Identify the leadership mindsets that contribute to failure or success in turbulent times
  • Describe and identify the 6 essential leadership skills research shows are required to lead and manage through adversity effectively
  • Experience as assessment tool that provides actionable insights for individuals to operate with the appropriate mindsets and skill-sets when things get tough 
  • Implement key strategies to help leaders and Talent Development professionals nurture their people's leadership potential

 About Your Facilitator: Laura A. Davis

Laura A. Davis is the CEO and Founder of Laura A. Davis & Associates, Inc., an Atlanta-based transformational executive coaching, leadership development, and DiSC-based assessment solutions training firm. Since 1995, Laura has been coaching and training leaders at all levels of Fortune 500 and mid-sized companies to become more emotionally intelligent and aware of their role in creating a healthy, engaged corporate culture.
