A follow up to Move the Room: How to Successfully Train Online. Come ready with your questions as the panelists provide successful tips and tools to help you in this transition. The panelists will discuss and highlight successful transitions from face-to-face to virtual learning.

Meet the Panel:

Jonah Goldstein, Head of Learning for 360 Learning:  Will share expertise on a collaborative approach to e-learning and international perspective. Jonah is an experienced Learning and Development professional, having worked in both the United States and France across multiple industries and organizations. Whether it's building countries' educational capabilities with the UN, overseeing technical training for a services company of more than 500,000 employees, or championing collaborative learning at an edtech start-up, Jonah is constantly driven by his passion to learn, and help others develop personally and professionally.  More about Jonah on his LinkedIn Profile.

Sharon E. Harrington, CPTD, Senior Managing Consultant for Amediate, LLC: Sharon works with leaders to cultivate workplace cultures where employees are empowered with foundational skills for self-navigating through uncomfortable workplace situations that can be costly when simply evaded.  She custom designs and facilitates skillsets that engage participants to navigate their learning for immediate application.  She is the founder of Amediate, LLC (www.amediatellc.com) in Norfolk, VA.





Bejanae Kareem, A dynamic and results-oriented edupreneur, with over 20+ years’ experience in instructional design, training, project management, and teaching. Ms. Kareem has been instrumental in early childhood to post-secondary (traditional and virtual) learning environments. Her passion for education was the driver behind launching BK International Education Consultancy in 2012 to strengthen educator knowledge and skills to best serve students. Under Ms. Kareem's leadership, BK International Education Consultancy is a certified woman/minority-owned business enterprise, an IACET accredited provider of continuing education units, and recognized as a Champion of Learning for ATD's 2019 Employee Learning Week. Ms. Kareem holds a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, Master’s in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, and Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences.  Take a look at her LinkedIn Profile.

Dr. Lisa Kahle-Piasecki, Phd., APTD, An Associate Professor of Management at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio. She is an experienced educator, teaching Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral-level students online for 10 years. She is a frequent presenter at both national and international conferences and frequently researches topics that relate to the intersection of technology in the classroom and workplace. She received her PhD from the University of Toledo and was part of the first cohort to receive the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification offered by the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Oronde Freeman, Lead ESL Instructor for GA Piedmont Technical College. He is a professional English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor for international students from beginning to advanced levels of English proficiency.  With over 10 years of ESL experience, he has designed curriculum and taught students for non-profit institutions such as the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and at community colleges such as Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) where, as the Lead ESL Instructor, he implemented English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses to help refugee and immigrant background students transition into post-secondary education and onto careers.
