Stand Out from the Stack: Build Your Resume for the Job you Want

Not happy with your current resume? Need to make some updates for that upcoming interview? Let us help! The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR Atlanta) is partnering with the Greater Atlanta Chapter of ATD to offer you a hands-on resume writing workshop!

Expert members from the NAAAHR Atlanta group will provide one-on-one sessions and discuss with you how to write and/or update the resume that best reflects your strengths and talents. Bring a hard copy of your resume and learn how to highlight your skills and experiences in a way that aligns with what hiring managers and recruiters are seeking. Leave feeling confident that your resume confirms that you are a competitive candidate for the job you want!

Attendees can also expect to:

  • Learn how to craft a compelling, easy-to-read resume
  • Perfect your use of key words without anxiety
  • Gain confidence in your ability to tailor the resume easily

Resume writing is the first session of a career development series, hosted by the Career Development Communities of Practice (CoP), in 2020. Stay connected to learn more about the upcoming sessions.
