These kinds of uses of big data and analytics have arrived and it’s more important than ever that L&D and other performance improvement professionals understand what’s happening, why it’s important and what to do about it. In this presentation, we delve into some important concepts, principles, questions and precautions that L&D and performance improvement professionals should be paying attention to. We’ll cover: • What are data science and analytics? • Why are these important? • How are these being used today in general and in L&D, education, and performance improvement projects? • Who are some thought leaders you should be paying attention to?
