Communication breakdowns happen every day and can happen in any situation. Why?

Come and explore the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator tool with Melissa Waller, MBTI Certified Practitioner.

What is it and how can it be used to make a difference for your team?  Used by Fortune 500 companies to build teams, improve communication and treat departmental dysfunction, MBTI facilitation is the foundation on which team efficiency and cohesion is built.  Many job-site problems can be solved by educating supervisors about type and the root causes of "team breakdown".  Supervisors, as well as employees can be coached to pick up on the cues that can identify "type" and help them "flex" into the communication style that will result in understanding and follow-through.

Melissa Waller began her professional life as a commercial pilot operating asmall charter service out of Savannah, Georgia. An injury several years laterled her into the insurance and financial services industry, where she was responsible for administrative functions that included training and development of newly recruited agents. When the agency director retired in December of 2008, Melissa launched a small firm offering outsourced administrative assistance for new businesses and retired executives. Development Consulting Services expanded to include staff training and development as a result of her clients’ growing needs, and she received a Certified Practitioner designation for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator tool from the Center for Applications of Psychological Type in 2010. Based in Springfield, Georgia (Effingham County) near Savannah, Melissa has done both for-profit and non-profit work. She believes every organization or individual can benefit from type training, as it’s applications are meant to improve communication and expand appreciation for what Isabel Myers called "gifts differing".
