Shannon Benham is currently the International Talent Manager for UPS, a transportation company providing a wide range of services, including logistics, shipping, brokerage and financial service offerings to an international market of over 200 countries.
Shannon has served in an executive capacity in various positions over the last several years with a primary focus in Human Resources including Workforce Planning, Global Philanthropy, Learning and Development, Succession Planning, and Training. She has also performed multiple assignments as the Director of Human Resources for several business units within UPS. During her 17 year career with UPS, she has had the opportunity to work in both operational and staff positions giving her a wide breath of perspective within the corporation. Her most recent assignment was as the Director of Learning and Development for Europe, Middle East and Africa based out of Brussels Belgium. Her current role located within the Atlanta corporate offices oversees the Talent Management processes for all countries outside of the United States.
Shannon has also been a key partner at UPS in implementing the re-design structure for the Learning and Development function, a topic that she'll discuss with you today. The re-design project required appropriate staff acquisition from both internal and external resources, and alignment of functional design to better support an increasingly important global structure.
Shannon is a graduate of Bradley University with a degree in Business Administration and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
