Virtual reality for talent development is the most requested topic Atlanta ATD members have requested, so we'll kick off 2017 with this insightful Learning Technology event.  Space is limited -- register early!  Come hungry and enjoy complimentary subs and desserts from the world-famous Penn Station East Coast Sub Shop!

In this session, we will discuss VR and showcase numerous examples from various industry sectors. The program will include a deep dive into a virtual insurance claims environment via a case study by Crawford & Company.

Key objectives will include:

1. Overview of several VR implementation programs

2. Practical methods to get started in VR

3. Recommended best practices in VR development and application

This session will be led  Chris Hatzakis and Doug Dell.  Here are their backgrounds:  

Chris Hatzakis is the Regional Sales Manager for PurpleFrame Technologies, a TalentQuest Company. In serving this role, he is responsible in working with large enterprise organizations to achieve higher engagement for learners through innovative solutions that Include Augmented and Virtual Reality as well as 3D. Chris has worked in the learning area for the last 5 years and has been able to help organizations gain a deeper understanding of the challenges that are faced on a day to day basis. He has led several speaking sessions that catered to both Solution Providers and C-Suite executives and has developed a network that spans the globe.

Douglas Dell is vice president of Educational Services at Crawford & Company, a global insurance claims management firm. He manages all online, classroom and virtual training programs supporting Crawford’s continuing education business serving the insurance industry. His responsibilities include technical development of the learning infrastructure and management of the CE compliance platform enabling professional licensing for Crawford and many of its customers. Prior to joining Crawford, he served as vice president of global learning for NCR, managing NCR University and all learning programs for the company. He is chairman of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Talent Development and member of the HR Advisory Council for the United Way of Greater Atlanta.
