    POSITION SUMMARY

    The MiMedx® Sales Training Department is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of new hire, continuing education, management and professional development programs for field sales representatives and managers. The Sales Training Manager, Wound Care is responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of high-level professional sales training programs for both new and tenured sales executives that are aligned with MiMedx® business objectives and are designed to drive sales.  The Sales Training Manager, Wound Care will develop and facilitate on-going training programs focused on product, clinical and selling skills.  Candidates must be available for a minimum of 40 hours a week and have evening and weekend availability. Training for those who are accepted into the position involves learning training and company processes and navigation of the Learning Management System.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Sales Training Manager position is responsible for:

    • Developing the training curriculum for all wound care applications of the MiMedx® products, including but not limited to: product training, clinical applications, objection handling, competitive differentiation, sales messaging.
    • Assessment of training needs and performance gaps of the sales representatives and prioritization of needs based on MiMedx® business strategies.
    • Coordinating with Marketing, Sales Management, and other key stakeholders to recommend, design, implement, and evaluate learning and performance solutions.
    • Managing all aspects of presentations, training aides, training manuals, etc. while working closely with management to create and implement job aides and training materials.
    • Creating a dynamic, highly interactive, and fun education environment to optimize learning.
    • Evaluating the MiMedx® sales training programs on an on-going basis and recommending updates to enhance delivery of information and increase effectiveness.
    • Strategizing with other trainers as needed to drive sales and optimize learning.
    • Conducting field rides with representatives to stay abreast of industry and product trends and ensure training needs of field force are met.
    • Developing and maintaining a network of strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in order to develop training materials and programs.
    • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Able to travel 25% of the time.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience
    • Minimum of three years in a training and development environment
    • Experience selling in a highly competitive biologics or medical device sales organization is a prerequisite for this role
    • Proficiency in performing needs analysis, design and development of content for delivering classroom, distance, and self-paced learning utilizing adult learning principles for Sales audiences
    • Mastery of Microsoft Office suite
    • Online training software experience is preferred, Articulate Studio is a plus
    • LMS experience is preferred, Cornerstone for Salesforce.com is a plus
