If so, Ultimate Software is seeking part-time entry level permanent Learning Experience Designers to help enhance the skills you have in instructional design techniques. This entry-level position starts with our custom training program and is well suited for those eager to gain experience with a variety of learning design techniques and technologies.

    This position works no more than 29 hours per week and is located in our Atlanta, GA office.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

    • Create instructional materials (e-learning, videos, software tutorials, user guides, job aids, audio and video scripts, storyboards, assessments, etc.) that transform technical information into professionally written, engaging instruction or performance support content.
    • Identify learning objectives, performance outcomes, and evaluative strategies to deliver content, including consulting with program owners and subject matter experts to identify learning gaps and content requirements.
    • Work collaboratively with a high-performing team of product analysts, developers, designers, learning specialists, instructors, project managers, and support representatives to formulate qualified solutions.

    Required Qualifications/Skills:

    • Design and develop blended and technology-enabled learning solutions, including web-based, instructor-led, virtual, on-the job, and self-directed learning resources
    • Develop technical/software related job aids and user guides that are easy to read and understand, accurate and up-to-date, and correctly formatted using a style guide
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive schedules
    • Ability to break down complex, technical processes into simple, logical steps
    • Ability to create assessments to measure learning
    • Knowledge of instructional systems design methodology, rapid design/development methodologies, adult learning theory, research methodology, and assessment tools
