As a chapter, we are committed to finding new and different ways to support our members and their professional needs. This year, we aligned our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) with ATD National’s Communities of Practice (CoPs). By doing so, we encourage our members to take their professional development to a deeper level by learning about the rich offerings our CoPs deliver and the wealth of information available from our National Partner’s CoPs. ATD Atlanta Communities of Practice (CoPs) represent one of the many ways to grow professionally and personally, to network, learn new trends and industry directions, and to take useful information back to your organization. Most Atlanta Chapter CoPs meet bi-monthly and feature high-quality presentations by local or even national training and development practitioners. Many feature case history presentations allowing attendees to evaluate and learn from the experience of others. |
All CoP meetings share a common goal of enhancing the value of ATD Atlanta membership, providing professional growth and a wide spectrum of opportunities.
Our CoPs also provide a wonderful opportunity to become personally involved in your Atlanta Chapter. CoP chairpersons continuously seek assistance in topic and speaker selection, meeting planning, attendee registration and other key support activities.
